The President’s Council on Fitness, Sports & Nutrition has selected Tracy Keibler, Executive Director of ApparentPlan to receive a 2016 President’s Council on Fitness, Sports & Nutrition Community Leadership Award. The award is given annually to individuals or organizations who improve the lives of others within their community by providing or enhancing opportunities to engage in sports, physical activities, fitness, and nutrition-related programs.

The research is clear: individuals who participate in health programs have better health outcomes. But when classes can cost $90 for seven weeks, it can be financially difficult to stick with the program. That’s why ApparentPlan has provided over $15,000 in scholarships for our tai chi and nutrition programs. The results speak for themselves - many of these students have been taking tai chi together for over 3 years!
Yesterday was a relatively short day, but today we had to ride almost twice as far, 65.8 miles. But it was a glorious day for riding. Unbelievably incredible music and we even met royalty. Check out the full post and pictures.
