Nutrition Ignition Mentor
To become a Nutrition Ignition mentor, you need to have completed at least one month on the program and have had positive health outcomes and be willing to have a background check. As we start new Nutrition Ignition groups, we will call on you to see if you are available to be a table mentor at the first training session. The mentor can engage with the new program sessions as frequently as is convenient for the mentor.
Learn to use the National Council on Aging's computer program that helps determine the benefits for which our clients are qualified. It's easy to do and the benefit to our clients is tremendous.
Do you like to create on the computer? ApparentPlan produces brochures, posters, name tags for its many events. If this is fun for you, we could use your help. The fun doesn't have to stop there, if making website updates is more fun than chore for you, we'd love to hear from you!
Event Planning Extravaganza
Who says funding raising has to be the same old thing? If you are an event planner or would like to try your hand at event planning, here are some fundraising ideas ApparentPlan would like to host in the upcoming year.
- Valentines Day or May Day Tea at the Country Club.
- Century Bike Ride: a 100 mile ride through scenic lake country.
- Tai Chi Marathon.
A spectacular event is just your imagination away. We have a list of volunteers ready to help you make it happen.
Quickbooks Data Entry
Do you know Quickbooks? ApparentPlan is looking for someone to help enter bank statements and retail inventory data into Quickbooks. This also includes quarterly meetings with our accountant.
Health Program Registration
Help us get ready to play tai chi. Roughly seven times a year, we begin new tai chi and nutrition class sessions at all of our locations. We are looking for students who like to work with people to "take the lead" and help us register the new students. This requires getting registration forms filled out and receiving payment for the class sessions. It only takes about 15 minutes prior to the first and second classes.
